The origins of our ancestor Michel Larcher dit Gallant:
New information about the parentage of Michel Larcher (1662-1737).
He was the son of Michel LeNeuf de La Valliere (1640-1705), Seigneur de Beaubassin and Governor of Acadia.
And, was the grandson of Jacques LeNeuf de La Poterie (1604-1687), from Caen Normandy: Seigneur de PortNeuf, Governor of Three-Rivers and Governor of New France.
It was a theory in August 1993. And, evidence was found in the Jesuit Records at the National Archives of Canada (Ottawa) in 1994.
Michel L'Archer was born to be a soldier. A defender of Acadia.
